Hey-o! Thanks for stopping by and perusing my latest work.

If you’d like to know a little more about me, here’s a tidbit or two. I’m a Salt Lake City based artist and designer. I received my BFA in Drawing & Painting from Utah State University in Logan. A few years later, I received my MFA from the University of Utah here in Salt Lake City.

For the past 6+ years, I’ve been working as the lead designer and marketing specialist at PHYTOMER Corporation. My work involves everything from art direction, to writing extensive copy, to maintaining multiple brand identities. I develop marketing assets and campaigns involving print, digital, e-commerce and social media projects. The design and marketing needs of our corporate spa partners and end consumers are vast and keep me on my toes with multiple projects for annual tradeshows, seasonal events and regular communication about our company, products and resources.

I’m always looking for new opportunities for creative projects so I also work as a freelance designer and artist creating logos, illustrations and collateral for small businesses and specialty projects.

On the home front, I’ve been exploring more digital illustration and have become absolutely enchanted by the process and love the challenge of learning new methods. I’ve been deeply connected with drawing ever since I was a kiddo and consider it my passion and specialty in many mediums.

On a more random note, I study Northern Shaolin Kung Fu and it’s been kicking my ass for the past five years. I also enjoy fantasizing about doughnuts, hate wearing socks to bed and adore the work of Terry Pratchett.
